Presentation

The certification of Controlled Supply Chain belongs to the family of voluntary basis product certifications.

This certification is based on 2 key-concepts:
  • supply chain
  • traceability
According to DTP 035, the certification of Controlled Supply Chain attests that, with reasonable reliability, product traceability is guaranteed and documented during the whole supply chain and that hygienic-sanitary requirements according to HACCP criteria are managed in each phase.

Certification procedure

Steps:
  • drafting an economic proposition (not binding);
  • stipulating a certification contract;
  • evaluation of the documentation submitted by the applicant;
  • visit to business concern for the purpose of assessment by expert auditors;
  • sampling and, in the eventuality, laboratory testing;
  • issue of certificate of compliance accompanied by licence to use compliance mark.
  • promoting value of product characteristics
  • displaying certification on the product itself (with CSQA logo compliance mark);
