International spectrum
CSQA certifications are internationally recognized and this is achieved through: - Accredia accreditation, (a EA and IAF member)
- Membership of IQNet - the largest association of certifications bodies in the world. IQNet is a channel for mutual recognition of the certificates issued by members. Companies or other operators awarded a CSQA/IQNet certificate receive a document that will be effective valid and recognized around the world.
- the agreement between CSQA and ISACert, the world-wide certification body to which IFS and BRC standards are referred. CSQA is the only representative of ISACert in Italy.
Historical background
CSQA was founded in 1990 inside a prestigious research and technology transfer Institute, as the first agri-food certification service in Italy. Even when it separated from the Institute in 1990 and established a limited company, CSQA decided to maintain its “public vocation” with the inclusion in the articles of incorporation of a provision that no profits would be distributed but that they would be invested in areas of public utility. Hence its constant commitment over the years in the diffusion of quality in the agri-food world, both through training and through research and development, in order to offer companies instruments that are always innovative to provide an adequate response to new market needs. Starting from the national leadership acquired in agri-food sector certification CSQA then began to extend its attention to the other sectors that have a powerful affect on man, his wellbeing and health. Hence the new commitments made and the new skills achieved by CSQA in such sectors as Public Administration, Culture, Territory, Public and Sociomedical Services and Training.
Mission
"CSQA wants to stand out in the world of international certification to give its contribution, in responsible way, to sustainable development, keeping the highest level of technical-scientific competence and operatioanl seriousness in the sectors linked to the Man and his Environment: agriculture, food, tourism, environment, training, person- and business-oriented services."
Training Centre
Being involved in certification must also mean creating a new culture of quality, with the diffusion of concepts of quality, of sustainability and of ethics, with a powerful and credible commitment to the creation of fertile soil for learning and change. It for this purpose that CSQA has a Training Centre which designs and provides advanced training courses. The aim of the CSQA Training Centre is to meet the needs of those who approach the quality world for the first time and of expert personnel wishing to specialize for their own professional growth. The paths proposed are the fruit of the encounter between certification professionals and training process experts to the purposes of offering teaching modules in which theoretical aspects and their application to company realities can meet. The CSQA Training Centre collaborates with bodies, institutions and organizations wishing to engage in training activities for both companies and professional figures.
